It was always important to Grandma and Grandpa Lodes that the family get together often. It's been so long since we've all been together--let's spend some time remembering the old times and making new memories!
The reunion will be hosted by Krista and Robie Herman, daughter and son-in-law of Linda and Lary Fisher at their home. We will have dinner on Friday, a cinnamon roll contest on Saturday morning, a chili cook off for lunch on Saturday, and dinner Saturday evening. We will also have breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Come for as long as you can! We'll play lots of pitch, have a family trivia contest, and bring family pictures and artifacts for a show and tell!
Meals
The main course for both dinners will be provided with the option for everyone to pitch in for costs. We have a sign up sheet for all other foods: Reunion Sign Up . Hopefully everyone will be able to find something they can bring or pick up on the way and we won't have to spend a lot of time cooking and cleaning up. It's not about the food, it's about the fun! Iced tea, water, and coffee will be provided, but if you'd like something else, please bring it. For the chili cook off, please feel free to make ahead, freeze, and bring it with you.
Accommodations
We have a limited number of beds available at the house, first come, first served. However, we have lots of good floor space for air mattresses if you'd like to stay where all the fun is! I have several air mattresses you can borrow if you'd like to. We've reserved the 2 downstairs bedroom for A. Cleo and A. Mildred. There are plenty of bathrooms to accommodate a lot of people. Please let Linda know if you have mobility issues so we can make arrangements. There is a spot to let us know if you want to stay on the food sign up sheet as well.
